A client recently contacted me to ‘mention’ that I hadn’t posted anything on my blog for quite some time.  On the one hand, it was great that there was some one out there who wanted to read a little more about my wedding adventures.  But on the other hand, it made me realise just busy I had been during 2015 and how I had neglected my website.

I do appreciate the importance of sharing stories through this blog, so I promise to write a lot more and share more wedding adventures here.

But, 2015 was an amazing year.  During last year my weddings have taken me all over the UK and I remain so grateful to all the brides and their new husbands that allowed me to share their big day.

There is a lot to share! From gorgeous sumptuous weddings with Cambridge Colleges as  their backdrops, to intimate, chic country weddings in secret venues and family homes…a return to the stunning South Lodge Hotel in Sussex to photograph Victoria and Alex’s wedding as well as weddings at (two of my favourite venues) Chippenham Park and The Old Hall in Ely.

I have met the most loveliest couples ever together with their friends and families who all without fail allowed me to take ‘just one more shot’…and nobody moaned.

I have seen how other suppliers take just as much pride in their work and service as I do.  From the wedding dress makers, cake makers, the best wedding videographer…to my favourite magician.  All of them at the top of the game to ensure that their clients, our clients, have the best day ever.  Thank you for your professionalism too.

And as for 2016?  I am so very excited about this year.  My wedding season started very early on in the year with Eleannor and Sean’s winter wedding at The Doubletree in Cambridge, and a further four weddings scattered thoughout Cambridgeshire, dodging the wind and rain.  I’ll share those stories soon!

So, a little late…but here’s to the rest of 2016!
