Hengrave Hall Winter Wedding

Hengrave Hall wedding photography (1 of 1)

Bethany and Jason’s perfect winter wedding at Hengrave Hall.

I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph at Hengrave Hall a few times now, usually during the summer months, so I was really looking forward to returning there for one of my last weddings of 2016.

Bethany and Jason’s day started at Hengrave with bridal and groom prep.  This venue has the most elegant Bridal suite, as well as the perfect man-cave / groom prep room complete with a snooker table.

Bethany and Jason had there ceremony in the hall, their wedding breakfast in the Long Gallery and then a 6pm, they had a blessing in St John’s Lateren Church, which is situated in Hengrave Hall’s grounds.  The blessing was perfect and so atmospheric.  At 6pm, it was dark and the church was lit by candles.

Winter weddings do pose a few problems for the photographer, mainly that it gets dark so quickly, but Jason and Bethany planned time for their photographs, which meant we were able to make use of Hengrave Hall’s stunning formal gardens to get a collection of formal portraits.

Here’s a collection of my favourite wedding images from Bethany and Jason’s amazing day at Hengrave.

So a huge thanks to Bethany and Jason for inviting me to photograph their lovely wedding, as well as the amazing, dedicated team at Hengrave Hall, who always go far and beyond to ensure that the Brides and Grooms have the most perfect of weddings.
